Hyderabad Airport (Rajiv Gandhi International Airport)

Featured by Skytrax as one of the top Indian airports, the Hyderabad Rajiv Gandhi International Airport continues to excel in terms of customer service. The airport is named after the former Indian Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi. The airport is relatively new, having opened in 2008. It operates a wide selection of international and domestic flights and serves as a hub for Spice Jet, Lufthansa Cargo and Blue Dart Aviation.

There is currently only one terminal at the airport. The terminal is undergoing further expansion plans to accommodate the increase in passenger numbers. A second terminal is being constructed to cater for low-cost airlines.
