Air Serbia Flights

Air Serbia is Serbia’s largest and the country’s national airline which operates from Nikola Tesla Airport (formerly Belgrade Airport) in Belgrade, Serbia. Earlier known as Jat Airways, Air Serbia was rebranded in 2013 and now operates flights to 41 destinations across the globe.

Why fly with Air Serbia?


Passengers can check-in online 36 hours before departure up to 1 hour before departure. However, the web check-in option is only available from Abu Dhabi, Beirut, Belgrade, Bucharest, Istanbul, London and Prague. Passengers who check-in at airport counter need to do so until 45 minutes before departure. Passengers can also check flight status on a separate page on the Air Serbia website.


Passengers can book seats in advance while booking their flight ticket on the Air Serbia website. Passengers travelling on the newer Airbus will only have a choice of aisle/window seat (only Economy Class) while those flying the older fleet with business and economy sections can choose seats accordingly.

Baggage allowance and fees

Baggage allowance for adults, children and infants travelling in Economy Class with Air Serbia are allowed a piece of checked in baggage weighing 23 kg with maximum dimensions of 158 cm (Length+width+height). Business class passengers are allowed 2 pieces of luggage each weighing maximum 23 kg and measuring maximum 158 cm in dimensions. Excess baggage attracts baggage fees, which is applicable according to the geographical zones and the number of bags (minimum 50 EUR). Travel documents

Passengers need to carry their passport and visa for international flights.


For Business Class/First Class passengers, meals include canapes (ultra-short haul), a-la carte menu with beverages (short haul), and a 3-course menu with refreshments (medium and long haul). For Economy Class passengers, meals include snacks and beverages (ultra-short and short haul) and a complete meal, beverages and bar services (medium and long haul).
