China Eastern Airlines Corp. Ltd. is China’s second-largest carrier with its base at Shanghai’s Hongqiao International Airport and Shanghai Pudong International Airport, operating both international and domestic flights. The airline’s secondary hubs are at Xi'an Xianyang International Airport, Kunming Changshui International Airport, and Beijing Capital International Airport. China Eastern Airlines has code share agreements with 27 global airlines.
China Eastern Airlines has the following aircrafts as part of its fleet – 36 Airbus A319-100s, 168 Airbus A320-200s, 16 Airbus A330-300s, 70 Airbus A321-200s, 30 Airbus A330-200s, 42 Boeing 737-700s, 78 Boeing 737-800s, and 18 Boeing 777-300ERs – a total of 458 aircrafts.

How to Check-in
Travellers can check-in online and at the China Eastern Airlines counters at the airport. However, online check-in is available only for adults on domestic/international flights to/from Shanghai. Passengers can do online check-in here using their ticket, passport or ID number and their given/family name. The airline doesn’t have mobile check-in.
Baggage Allowances and Fees
Free checked-in domestic allowance is 40kg (First Class), 30kg (Business Class), and 20kg (Economy). Free international checked-in allowance is 32kg x 3pc (First Class), 32kg x 2pc (Business Class), 32kg x 2pc (Premium Economy) and 23kg x 2 pc (Economy). Dimensions should be less than 158cm.
