Garuda Indonesia is Indonesia’s national airline and has its headquarters in the city of Tangerang, with its base at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. The airline became part of an elite club of 7 airlines to receive a 5-star rating by Skytrax, the primary airline review firm. Garuda Indonesia Airlines received the Most Improved Airline Award along with world’s best cabin crew. In February 2011, the airline made its debut in the Indonesian stock market.

How to Check-in
International check-in counters open 2hrs to 45mins before departure. Domestic check-in counters open 1hr to 30mins before departure. Check-in on line or with mobile app, 48hrs to 4hrs before departure. Passengers will be asked for the departure date and booking reference number or E-ticket number.
Baggage Allowances and Fees

Garuda Indonesia has First, Business and Economy classes. All Boeing 737-800s have 162 seats, the Boeing 777-300ERs have 314 seats and Boeing 777-300ERs come with 393 seats. The ATR 72-600s seats 70 passengers each while the Bombardier CRJ100s have 96 seats. The Airbus A330-200s seat 222 passengers and the Airbus A330-300s have varied seating layouts ranging from 360 to 251 and 287 seats.
