The history of the airline goes back to the year 1994 when it was founded as a domestic German airline and was based at former Hahn US military air base. The airline joined its first Billing and Settlement Plan in 1997 and by 1999 all the flights were being been sold via the Amadeus computer reservation system. How to Check-in

Web check-in is presently not offered by Hahn Air and passengers can only check-in at the airport. Generally counters open 75 minutes before the schedule departure of flight and closes 30 minutes before departure. Baggage Fee and allowance

Passengers travelling with Hahn Air are allowed to check-in 20 kg of luggage when in economy class and 32 kg of baggage when travelling in business class. Please note that children below 2 years are not eligible for free baggage allowance. As hand baggage passengers are allowed to carry 1 piece of bag not exceeding size 55cm X 40cm X 20cm with a maximum weight of 7 kg along with a personal bag. In case you are travelling with excess baggage, passengers will be charged EUR 39.00 and maximum that can be carried is 2 pieces with a total weight of 40 kg in business class and 32 kg in economy class. Carrying of dangerous or explosive items is strictly prohibited on the flight. Passengers are not allowed to carry more than 100 ml or 100 gm of liquid, wax or gel like items on board. Please carry visa, passport and other travel related documents at the airport.
