Trujet, whose actual name is Turbo Megha Airways Pvt Ltd, is an Indian low-cost airline with its base and hub at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. The airline, which began operations in mid-2015, focuses on providing services to middle-class passengers and connecting Tier-2 cities.


Trujet has 4 total aircrafts – 3 ATR 72-500s and 1 ATR 72-600, each with a seating capacity of 70-72 passengers.

Trujet flies to 11 domestic destinations – Cuddapah, Rajahmundry, Tirupati, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Goa, Bangalore, Aurangabad, Chennai, Mumbai and Nanded.

Inflight Service

Trujet India doesn’t feature inflight entertainment on its flights. It, however, provides TruJetter, its inflight magazine, as reading material.

How to Check-in

Travellers can check in online and at the airport Trujet counters. Check-in begins 2 hours before and closes 45 minutes before departure. Check-in online for Trujet flight here using PNR number, last name and origin airport. Web check-in begins 24 hours before up till 2 hours before departure. However, passengers having done web check-in but with check-in baggage need to arrive 2 hours before departure.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

Passengers are allowed to have free check-in baggage of up to 15kg and measuring not more than 158cm in dimensions. Passengers are allowed one cabin bag each weighing no more than 7kg and measuring no more than 115cm. Excess bags will be charged Rs. 100/bag (weighing between 16 and 20kg) and Rs. 250/bag (weighing more than 20kg). For pre-booking excess baggage, see here.


Allotment of seats can only be done at the Trujet airport counters, not online, and for a fee.

Booking Fees

Trujet charges a non-refundable convenience fee of Rs. 100/ticket for bookings done via Trujet’s website, agents, phone, city office, or the reservations centre.
