This first major Mughal structure has been described as the predecessor of the famous and stunning Taj Mahal in Agra. Humayun’s Tomb is an impressive example of Mughal architectural style, combining dome, mausoleum and plinth in perfect proportion. Getting Around

There are different modes of transport from the airport to various attractions in the city. Visitors can choose to take the Delhi Metro which connects Terminal 3 of the airport to the heart of the city. Visitors would be able to reach the city centre within 20 minutes. There are also 24-hour express buses operated by the Delhi Transport Corporation running between the arrival areas of the terminals to central Delhi. Tired visitors can also take a taxi which are cheap and plentiful outside the arrival areas at the airport.

Within the city centre, visitors would be able to travel conveniently around the attractions by hopping on taxis and rickshaws. Avoid taking the buses in the city centre because they are often crowded.
