Travellers need a visa to visit Aruba for Business or Tourism.

Travellers must obtain a paper or embassy visa from an embassy, consulate or visa center before travelling.

This visa requirement doesn’t apply to the following travellers:

Travellers with a multiple-entry short-stay visa or residence permit issued by a Schengen member state;
Travellers with a valid residence permit for (French) Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Mayotte, Réunion, Saint Barthélemy or Saint Martin;
Travellers with a multiple-entry visa or residence permit for the United Kingdom or Ireland;
Travellers with a residence permit for the United States or Canada;
Travellers with a multiple-entry visa for the United States or Canada.

Travellers require a passport valid for at least 3 months after the traveller exits Aruba

Travellers need a valid passport to enter Aruba. The traveller's passport must remain valid for at least 3 months after the traveller departs from Aruba. The passport must have at least 2 blank pages.

Parental consent for travellers under 18 entering Aruba

Travellers under 18 who are travelling without one or both parents or legal guardians should carry a consent form signed by the parents or guardian not accompanying the minor. The minor should also carry a recent extract of their birth certificate and a color copy of the valid travel document, such as a passport of the parents or guardians not travelling with them.

Supporting documents may be required, such as a copy of the parent’s valid Caribbean visa, a death certificate if a parent is deceased, official proof of guardianship, or court permission for the minor to travel.

Mandatory proof of minimum funds

Travellers must have sufficient funds between USD 100 to 200 to enter Aruba.

Travellers staying in a hotel must have sufficient funds between USD 150 to 200 per person per day. Travellers staying with family must have sufficient funds of 100 USD per person per day.

This requirement doesn’t apply to the following travellers:

Nationals of Aruba;
Foreign nationals residing in Aruba.

Mandatory immigration form before travel

All travellers, including children, must complete the Aruba Embarkation/Disembarkation Card online before travel and be approved to enter Aruba. Travellers can apply for the online ED Card a maximum of 7 days before arrival in Aruba.

Travellers arriving by air must pay a USD 20.00 tourism sustainability fee.

Travellers who are in transit through Aruba and must clear immigration must complete the online ED card.

Travellers who stay in Aruba for less than 24 hours don't need to complete this form.

The tourism sustainability fee requirement doesn’t apply to the following travellers:

Aruba residents;
Children under 8;
Repeat travellers who have already paid to visit Aruba within the same calendar year;
Aruban students who can prove they are studying at a foreign educational institution and have been residents no longer than eight years before arrival.
