This travel authorization requirement doesn’t apply to the following travellers:

  • Travellers who are transiting through Argentina and stay in the airport transit area for a maximum of 12 hours and have an onward ticket.

  • Travellers with a valid United States visa do not need a visa to enter Argentina if staying for 90 days or less for Tourism.

Travellers must have travel health insurance when travelling to Argentina.

This travel health insurance requirement doesn’t apply to the following travellers:

  • Travellers who are citizens and permanent residents of Argentina.

Travellers must have proof of accommodation during their stay in Argentina. If travellers will be hosted by a relative or friend, a letter of invitation will be requested.

Travellers require proof of a ticket showing their entrance and exit from Argentina.

This requirement doesn’t apply to the following travellers:

  • Nationals of Argentina;
  • Foreign nationals residing in Argentina.
