  • Travellers with permanent residency in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, or European Union member states, valid for a minimum of 90 calendar days from the date of entry to Costa Rica (excluding refugee/asylum category).
  • Travellers with a Schengen Area category "C" visa (exclusively) for multiple entries or category "D" visa, valid for a minimum of 1 calendar day from the intended date of entry to Costa Rica.

Travellers must have sufficient funds of USD 100 to enter Costa Rica.
