Romania visa requirements for Indian citizens
Travellers need a visa to visit Romania for Business or Tourism. Travellers must submit an invitation endorsed by the Inspectorate General for Immigration from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Travellers must obtain a paper or embassy visa from an embassy, consulate or visa center before travelling.
This visa requirement doesn’t apply to the following travellers:
- Travellers who hold a valid long-stay or short-stay visa, or residence permit issued by a Schengen member state or Bulgaria or Cyprus.
Travellers under the age of 18 years travelling to Romania may be required to provide additional documents or details when they are travelling unaccompanied, travelling with a parent or guardian who has a different surname, or travelling in groups.
