Armenia visa requirements for Indian citizens
Travellers need a visa to visit Armenia for Business or Tourism. Travellers are eligible to apply for an eVisa with conditions.
An Armenian eVisa is the fastest way to obtain a visa. Travellers can apply online. Once approved, travellers receive their eVisa confirmation electronically.
Category 1: Travellers who have a valid residence permit or visa issued by a European Union and Schengen member state, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Canada, Russia, or Japan, or who have a valid residence permit issued by the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, or Oman.
Category 2: Travellers with an invitation letter issued by an organization registered in Armenia.
From 1 January to July 1, 2026, travellers with a valid residence permit issued by United States, European Union Member States, Schengen Area States, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, or Oman do not need a visa to enter Armenia if staying for 180 days or less. The residence permit must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry.

Travellers who have a valid visa or resident card issued by EU and Schengen member states, GCC member states, USA, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, United Kingdom, Canada, Russia, or Japan may be eligible to apply for a visa on arrival to Armenia.
