Travellers may need a visa to visit Tunisia for Business or Tourism.

Travellers who visit Tunisia as part of an organized tour with a travel agency don’t need a visa.

Travellers entering the country on a one-way trip are exempt from the visa requirement.

Travellers who visit Tunisia individually must obtain a visitor visa. Travellers must obtain a paper or embassy visa from an embassy, consulate or visa center before travelling.

Travellers arriving in Tunisia who are carrying TND 10,000 (USD 3,300) or more in total value must declare the amount to customs upon entry. Travellers bringing more than the equivalent of TND 5,000 (USD 1,700) and intending to take the remaining funds out of Tunisia upon departure must declare the amount on entry to avoid issues when exiting the country.

Travellers need a valid passport to enter Tunisia. The traveller's passport must remain valid for at least 6 months after the traveller departs from Tunisia. The passport must have at least 2 blank pages. Travellers’ passport must not be older than 10 years.

• Health screening: While not always required, officials might ask for a health certificate or a medical exam upon arrival. This is more likely if you're coming from an area with a health outbreak or if you show signs of illness.
