If you're travelling from India to the Philippines, the first step is understanding the visa requirements. Securing the right visa makes your entry into the Philippines as smooth as possible. Philippines visa requirements for Indian citizens
Travellers need a visa for Business or Tourism stays over 14 days. Travellers do not need a visa for 14 days or less. A Philippines eVisa is the fastest option. Travellers can apply online. Once approved, travellers receive their eVisa confirmation electronically.
Travellers must have a valid return or onward ticket to the next country of destination, confirmed hotel accommodation, and proof of financial capacity.
Travellers who hold a valid visa or permanent residence permit issued by Australia, Canada, Japan, Singapore, the United Kingdom, the United States or Schengen Member States do not require a visa. They can visit the Philippines without a visa for a maximum stay of 30 days.
Travellers taking cruises organized by travel agencies may apply for the cruise visa waiver at the Bureau of Immigration’s e-services portal.
Philippine eVisa
Travellers require proof of a ticket showing their entrance and exit from the Philippines.
This requirement doesn’t apply to the following travellers:
- Nationals of the Philippines
- Balikbayans or former Filipinos
- Foreign nationals residing in the Philippines.
All travellers must complete the immigration and health arrival card (eTravel form) before departure to Philippines.
Once completed, this form will generate a QR code that the traveller must present at check-in and on arrival in Philippines.
Travellers must register within 72 hours prior to their arrival in the Philippines
Travellers need a valid passport to enter Philippines. The traveller's passport must remain valid for at least 6 months after the traveller departs from Philippines.

- Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B vaccines
- Typhoid vaccine for visits to smaller cities or rural areas
- Routine vaccines including Measles
- Japanese Encephalitis vaccine for extended stays or rural activities (not recommended for short-term travel to urban areas or travel to areas with no clear Japanese Encephalitis season).
